Brindlewood Bay is a tabletop roleplaying game that combines Murder, She Wrote with H.P. Lovecraft. In it, players are a group of elderly women, members of the local Murder Mavens Mystery Book Club, who help the authorities solve murder cases in a picturesque New England Town. Over the course of their investigations, they become aware of a dark occult conspiracy that connects the cases, and will eventually have to face that conspiracy in order to save their community.

Meet the amazing Murder Mavens!

Ahead of Friday, we wanted to give you all a little description of our Brindlewood Bay characters. Friday is the first episode of the four-week mini-campaign.

Our Murder Mavens stumble upon another murder. The visiting professor James Edwards was found dead this morning in the Museum of Brindle Dolls. But who murdered the professor? Will our heroines start to uncover what's really happening in Brindlewood Bay?

The ladies get to the Brindlewood Bay Bed and Breakfast (that's too many B's) to question the late Dr. Edwards's students. But, the kids aren't ready to cooperate so willingly, that is until Onnie has something to say about it.

As the Void inches closer to Margaret Stanton our Mavens are running out of daylight while investigating the murder of Professor James Edwards. Will the night bring out the culprit? Is it the security guard at the museum? Perhaps the posh listing scholar Dr. Subramanyam? Only a Theorize Move can say for certain.

The thrilling conclusion to the Brindlewood Bay One-Shot, Lies and Dolls. Our murder mavens theorize who killed Professor James Edwards but it's going to cost one of them their sanity.

We all had a ton of fun playing Brindlewood Bay and hope to visit it and other Powered by the Apocalypse systems in the future.
